I was around music my entire life. My parents were both in the church choir and my mom often sang solos. In fourth grade I joined kids choir at my church. I was never the loudest or strongest singer and I never had any desire to sing a solo like my mom. In fact, every time we would sing in front of the church I would get extremely nervous. I never knew many years later that this experience would be the beginning of my ministry in music. Over the years I continued to be involved in different choirs at school and church. I became a Christian in college and started serving as a praise leader in my church. Today, I lead music in Jersey’s contemporary service. I never thought that a shy little girl who never wanted a solo would be able to lead hundreds of people in song each week, but GOD has given me the gift of music and it is through HIM that I am able to get past my fears and do the work He has called me to do!
"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
